Jonny is a filmmaker and Si is a 3D graphic artist. We are two brothers who love films. If you do as well, maybe you‘ll enjoy listening to us discuss movies, good and bad, while we relive our childhoods, deconstruct them and go off on tangents. Be advised, this podcast contains strong language, including sexual swearwords.

EPISODE 12 - The Time Machine (2002) and Scream (2022) 23-01-22
Sunday Jan 23, 2022
Sunday Jan 23, 2022
What's your favourite time travel movie? Ok, fine, Back to the Future. What's your second favourite? Right, I can see we're going to be here for a while. The Time Machine 2002 anyone? Anyone? No? Just me? Alright then...
This week we're talking about everyone's 43rd favourite time travel movie, The Time Machine 2002, starring Guy Pierce, Samantha Mumba, Orlando Jones and Jeremy Irons. We discuss poor lighting decisions and the ridiculousness of made-up futures (because they should be real futures, no?), while wondering how 800,000 years can pass, the English language is all but lost (except when the script needs it to not be) and yet the Irish accent has somehow survived.
We play our usual games and give you all your favourite segments, while keeping it clean. No one likes a crass podcast, Si.
And as a special BONUS for you lovely listeners, we have a spoilery chat at the very end of the show about the new Scream movie, so stay tuned for that, or, if you haven't seen it yet and don't want it spoiled, you can turn us off before we start talking about it.
So put on your best bowler hats and sit back and bask in our dulcet tones as we snark our way through episode 12. Enjoy!

EPISODE 11 - Van Helsing (2004) 10-01-22
Monday Jan 10, 2022
Monday Jan 10, 2022
All rise!
On this week's episode, Jonny put 2004's Van Helsing on trial for crimes against cinema. Jonny, arguing for the prosecution, will seek to prove that Van Helsing is a pungent poo of a film, while Si, arguing for the defense, will try to prove it's innocence (he doesn't have a sense of smell, so that may help). What will be the verdict? Listen to find out, your jaw will positively elongate with shock!
Along the way, we chat about our walkout films, we continue to annoyingly quote films at each other while once again visiting Trivia Corner and VFX Attic, playing the Tagline Game and learning absolutely nothing of note in Movie News. So perch yourself on the ceiling, rip your skin off to reveal the werewolf underneath, tighten your corset (maybe that's the reason for all the pouting?) and relax once more to yet another belated episode of...What's Our Seat Number?

EPISODE 10 - Ghostbusters Afterlife (2021) 08-12-21 SPOILERS
Wednesday Dec 08, 2021
Wednesday Dec 08, 2021
After a brief hiatus due to illness and all sorts of misery, behold! Episode 10 is here!
Si has a few surprises in store for Jonny in this week's episode, in which we review Ghostbusters Afterlife, the third film in the Ghostbusters fan-chise. Fourth if you count the 2009 game. Fifth if you count the reboot - the question is, should you?
It's a slightly different episode this week. We've put the gunbarrel at the end and have taken out the blood, but don't worry, there are important narrative reasons for it. It...it's fine.
We chat fan service, legacy sequels, Sedgwick Hotels and Magical Paths to Fortune and Power. Jonny has a lie down briefly on what we've dubbed as the No Time To Die Therapy Couch (TM). Not yet open to the public, patent pending. Lawsuit likely in progress.
Look out for more movie news, visit Trivia Corner and VFX Attic with us and prime your Neutrino Wands because we sink our teeth into every aspect of this movie like Muncher going at a steelworks. Which reminds me, if you didn't get that reference, turn around right now and go and see Ghostbusters Afterlife because we are SPOILERING all over this podcast. You have been warned.
So, now that we have that out of the way, turn to page 87 in your Tobin's Spirit Guides and we'll begin. It's gonna be a great show. And happy 10th episode to us!

EPISODE 09 - The Rocketeer (1991) - 21-11-21
Sunday Nov 21, 2021
Sunday Nov 21, 2021
In this week's episode, we're talking about the 1991 classic The Rocketeer, a boy's own adventure romp that made nowt more than a whimper at the box office, which is a shame because it really is a fun flick.
Along the way we discuss celebrity crushes and after our respective cold showers, we talk about big gophers, Dan Stevens, the Big Wow, tiny little 30's moustaches and Jonny's time as an Anatevkan milkman in the late 19th century.
As always, we pay our respects to our numerous sponsors, we play The Tagline Game and Krazee Kasting (with K's), learn fascinating facts in Trivia Corner and take trips up the rickety staircase to VFX Attic (try the foot biscuits, they're to die for).
So come on down to 1635 Palm Terrace (we've done our research from hell to breakfast) and join us as we bask in the awesomeness that is...The Rocketeer. Or get ready to be fitted for a pine overcoat.

EPISODE 08 - Who Framed Roger Rabbit (1988) 17-11-21
Wednesday Nov 17, 2021
Wednesday Nov 17, 2021
Hello dear listeners and welcome once again! This week's episode is packed to the gills with cartoony fun and family flick mainstays such as alcoholism, gun violence, murder, adultery and oversized cartoon boobies.
We tell tales of Fruit Gums gone awry, villains so terrifying that millions of kids wet their beds all at once back in the 80's and an ambitious film that posits - what if cartoon characters existed in the real world and some were murdering psychos?
If you haven't guessed, this week's movie is the 1988 classic Who Framed Roger Rabbit, directed by Robert Zemeckis and produced by child fear peddler Steven Spielberg.
As always, there are Tagline Games, Trivia Corners (a couple this week, actually), VFX Attics and two brand new segments that sent our running time hurtling past that of the movie we were discussing like a Dipmobile propelled by a speeding train. So set aside a couple of hours, sit back and relax with a warm mug of Turpentine Acetone Benzine and ask yourself if that's a rabbit in your pocket or if you're just happy to hear us...

EPISODE 07 - The Avengers (1998) 07-11-21
Sunday Nov 07, 2021
Sunday Nov 07, 2021
This week, we watched 1998 acid trip "The Avengers" (no, not that one) starring Ralph Fienne's bare buttocks, Uma Thurman in yet another furry costume and Sean Connery's handlebar moustache on absolutely fine form. We get tripped up by topics such as mankinis, incomprehensible dialogue, repeated calls for afternoon tea and at one point the conversation even devolves into complete and utter farce, for your listening pleasure. So unprofessional. Oh, and take care not to touch the railing on the way up to VFX Attic. Hands by your sides, it's a lawsuit waiting to happen.
This week's episode is sponsored by a boardroom full of multi-coloured teddy bears. Because everyone in business needs a cuddle?

Have you ever seen a ghost? Jonny thinks he has... or has he? Spooooooky!
Happy Halloween! In this week's episode, we're talking Ghostbusters II (1989) and we wonder - why do people dislike this movie? Answers on a postcard please. We discuss our love of the characters and how they're developed in this sequel, it gets surprisingly deep! We also discuss Paul Feig's Ghostbusters: Answer The Call (2016), what we liked about it and where we feel it went wrong as a Ghostbusters movie. All while successfully sitting in our chairs. You know, without falling off them.
So grab a mug of pink slime, slip into a warm slime bath, cue up Jackie Wilson and watch your toaster dance, because you're in for a great show. Next week though...hairless pets. Weird.

EPISODE 05 - Ghostbusters (1984) Halloween Special II 27-10-21
Wednesday Oct 27, 2021
Wednesday Oct 27, 2021
In this week's episode we talk about chair safety and the perks of not falling off them. We also talk about Ghostbusters, the 1984 classic starring Bill Murray, Harold Ramis, Dan Ackroyd, Ernie Hudson, Rick Moranis and Sigourney Weaver.
Tagline games are played, Trivia Corner and VFX Attic are visited, human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together, mass hysteria. All in one podcast! So grab a Twinkie and settle down to listen to something special...because no human beings would record a podcast like this.

EPISODE 04 - Hocus Pocus (1993) Halloween Special 17-10-21
Sunday Oct 17, 2021
Sunday Oct 17, 2021
This week, we discuss the Halloween-themed family classic, Disney's Hocus Pocus, starring Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy, directed by Kenny Ortega.
Si regales us with a horrific tale of childhood, oft told, but never before committed to public record. Now you can hear the story in all of it's glory for eternity.
Jonny grapples with existential questions such as "why do I like this movie?" "am I a sociopath?" and "what does Si do for a living?" Hint: he's NOT a graphic designer. All this and more at the click of a button. So heat up your cauldron, add two drops oil of boil and a dead man's toe. Next, add a dab of newt saliva, dash of pox. Stir thrice. One final thing and all is done: add a piece of thine own tongue. Grab yourself a victim, sit back and enjoy.
