In this week's episode, we talk about Drag Me To Hell, Sam Raimi's demon infested horror that promises to drag your soul to hell instead of just swallowing it this time.

Stop, hey, what's that sound? It's the sound of maniacal, hysterical laughter and the perpetrator is none other than Simon Gross, who has lost it. The cause, is of course, me, Jonny, because I am hilarious, and my new game, which broke Si's brain.
Once the giggling died down, we managed to get into a discussion of Sam Raimi's latest, which also happens to be the new MCU entry, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Long Ass Titles.

Sorry to disappoint anyone who thought otherwise, but in this week’s episode, we chat about the 1987 classic Innerspace, not The Neverending Story. Things were said, deflating horse testicles were mentioned, Si lamented his secret nightlife as a pinup girl and wet wipes were poked back in to the packet with our index fingers. Because we care and don't want to burn in hell for all eternity.
As usual, we have Movie News (with autocue reading idiot Jonny Gross), trips to corners and attics, the beloved Tagline Game and a new quiz game titled “You’re Talking Bullshit” which was the hit of the episode and absolutely did not make Si look stupid.
I can safely say with complete confidence that this is the best podcast episode you will listen to for the duration of your listening to it.

This week, we're having a spoilerific discussion of The Batman (2022), the latest incarnation of The Dark Knight starring Robert Pattinson, Zoe Kravitz, Paul Dano, Jeffrey Wright and someone claiming to be Colin Farrell. Expertly directed by the great Matt Reeves, who, along with cinematographer Grieg Fraser, put a whole load of lighting technicians out of work for the duration of filming. Seriously, it makes Seven look like The Big Bang Theory.
That was the pre-bit. Or the intro? I don't know. I'm confused.
Did we enjoy it? How does it stack up against the previous cinematic adventures of the Caped Crusader? Well, I'm not going to tell you. You'll have to listen to find out...

What's your favourite time travel movie? Ok, fine, Back to the Future. What's your second favourite? Right, I can see we're going to be here for a while. The Time Machine 2002 anyone? Anyone? No? Just me? Alright then...
This week we're talking about everyone's 43rd favourite time travel movie, The Time Machine 2002, starring Guy Pierce, Samantha Mumba, Orlando Jones and Jeremy Irons. We discuss poor lighting decisions and the ridiculousness of made-up futures (because they should be real futures, no?), while wondering how 800,000 years can pass, the English language is all but lost (except when the script needs it to not be) and yet the Irish accent has somehow survived.
We play our usual games and give you all your favourite segments, while keeping it clean. No one likes a crass podcast, Si.
And as a special BONUS for you lovely listeners, we have a spoilery chat at the very end of the show about the new Scream movie, so stay tuned for that, or, if you haven't seen it yet and don't want it spoiled, you can turn us off before we start talking about it.

On this week's episode, Jonny put 2004's Van Helsing on trial for crimes against cinema. Jonny, arguing for the prosecution, will seek to prove that Van Helsing is a pungent poo of a film, while Si, arguing for the defense, will try to prove it's innocence (he doesn't have a sense of smell, so that may help). What will be the verdict? Listen to find out, your jaw will positively elongate with shock!
Along the way, we chat about our walkout films, we continue to annoyingly quote films at each other while once again visiting Trivia Corner and VFX Attic, playing the Tagline Game and learning absolutely nothing of note in Movie News.
